Like all Protector U-Joint Covers, the shaft mount for 3" tube is installed with the driveline in place on the vehicle. Assembly is quick and secure. Hook tabs on the u-joint enclosure click positively in place and 4 stainless bolts with captured nylock nuts hold the Protector tightly to the driveshaft. Built-in spacers in the mount area allow for balancing weights.
